International Sales Administration Support
This is a key role supporting the continued growth of our international business and partner network. Working within our International Business Department and reporting to the Export Office Manager, this exciting job opportunity also offers the right candidate the potential to develop their role in the future as the department expands.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Processing sales orders from customers and international partners
- Organising freight shipments – working with freight companies, sourcing the best pricing for each order, liaising with the warehouse for packing information, and ensuring deliveries are arranged and made on time (mainly exports, with some imports)
- Preparing export documentation, including: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN), IATA documents, Packing Declarations, etc.
- Handling documentation with the Chamber of Commerce – including E-Certs and Preferential Certificates (ATR, UK-EUR1, EC & Arab-British)
- Supporting follow-up on leads and assisting with general export sales activities
- Carrying out market research to identify potential new customer leads
Experience & Skills
- We’re looking for a confident individual who is willing to learn and has a pro-active, enthusiastic approach to working within our busy export department.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in customer service, ideally in a trade-based or B2B sales environment
- A basic understanding of business processes and systems (experience with CRM or ERP systems would be an advantage)
- Good computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong English language skills – other languages would be a distinct advantage
