A hydraulic overhead line winch with built in options that make it suitable for the installation of ABC, 11kv and 33kv cables and overhead conductor recovery without any modifications. Our ABC winch offers the user a constant pre-set pulling force at variable speed that works with the help of a pair of bull wheels. The pulling force is applied to the rope by the wheels and wound onto the rope drum by a layering arm. Alternatively, a split drum can be fitted for recovery of scrap conductor. The vertical arrangement of the bull wheels enables easy winding of the rope for convenience and covers for the wheels during operation provide additional operator safety.
