POLE ERECTING SHEERLEGS
Sheerlegs (also knows as Shear legs / Shearlegs) are a lightweight, portable, cost-effective lifting solution for wooden pole erection in remote areas. Easy to transport between poles positions or jobs they are quick to set up and use.
Ritelite’s range of Pole erecting sheerlegs are designed for the harsh environments they are used in with heavy duty tubular aluminium legs, built in handles on each leg for easy manoeuvrability, ground plates with spikes for soft ground and pivotal rubber flat plates for hard ground.
They have an integral hand winch to assist with raising the pole lifting collar and a S.W.L of 300kg when used as part of a pole erection system.
Most commonly the Ritelite sheerlegs are used in the construction of overhead power and telecom lines in remote locations where vehicle based methods of pole erection are impractical.
