Splice Repair Kit for Cobra Rodding Systems

The cobra rodding repair kit is ideal if your cobra duct rod has snapped, split or kinked in the middle of your reel. The kit is made up of 1 x epoxy glue and 1 x repair splice. Kits are available for 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 11mm and 14mm rod on a next working day delivery service.

This video shows how to use a repair splice to repair a Ritelite Cobra duct rod, allowing damaged sections of rod to be restored quickly and effectively on site. Learn how to:

  • prepare the rod by removing the damaged section
  • strip back the outer sheath correctly
  • apply adhesive to the rod core
  • fit the repair splice securely
  • rejoin the rod for continued use
