These Grip-All Sticks were designed to guarantee the safety distance and necessary insulation when working in electrical systems and are manufactured with fibreglass polyurethane foam filled poles, impregnated with epoxy resin.
The exclusive manufacturing process, gives the sticks, high mechanical strength and excellent dielectric strength, which are essential characteristics, fully complying with the ASTM-F711, IEC-855 and NBR 11854 standards.
Application
The Grip-All Stick, commonly called “shot gun” was primarily designed for hot line clamp and grounding clamp operations, however due to its versatility, it has nowadays several applications, principally while carrying out maintenance services in energised electrical systems.
Its mechanism consists of a handle that operates the hook located at the extremity of its head when it is actuated, allowing three different basic positions:
Opened:
Position to hook the grounding clamp eye or other parts to be handled.
Closed:
In this position, the hook closes on the grounding clamp eye, allowing it to be swivelled, inclusive in angles.
Drawn Back:
When drawn back into the head, the hook keeps the grounding clamp completely locked to the grip-all stick, which is ideal for its installation and removal.
